寄り添う棚

まわりのモノに合わせて、棚板を左右にスライドさせることで、空間を調和してくれる棚です。
一般的に、インテリア製品の大きさは、それぞれの製品の基準で決められています。なので、私達は部屋のサイズを測って家具を購入したり、売り場で自分の部屋をなんとなくイメージしながら
絵画や観葉植物等、インテリア製品を購入します。そしてそれらをパズルのように部屋に配置してインテリアを構成します。
しかしながらそれはうまく噛み合わない場合もあります。
「寄り添う棚」はまわりに合わせて、上手にはまる、ピースになるように変化します。
「寄り添う棚」の機能は、周囲のモノや壁に対して、「距離を上手にはかる」事ができるということです。「距離を上手にはかる」ことは、相手のことを考え、思いやり、接しているからできる事です。モノがモノに対する感情、モノ同士が存在を支え合うことでより良い空間が生まれると考え、「寄り添う棚」をデザインしました。

These shelves harmonize the space by sliding the shelves to the left or right to match the objects around them.
Generally, the size of interior products is determined by the standard of each product. So we buy furniture by measuring the size of the room, or by somewhat imagining our own room on the sales floor.
We buy interior products such as paintings and decorative plants, etc., with a vague image of our room in mind. We then arrange them like a puzzle to compose the interior.
However, sometimes they don't fit together.
The "Leaning Shelf" changes to fit in well with its surroundings and to become a piece.
The function of the "Leaning Shelf" is to "measure distance well" against surrounding objects and walls. This is possible because we are thinking about the other person, caring for them, and treating them with consideration. We designed the "Leaning Shelf" based on the idea that a better space is created when things support each other in their feelings toward each other and in their existence.
